Everybody Art Challenge - Easel card.

Today is my first DT card for the Everybody Art challenge.
This like we would like you an easel card - that was a nice and wast start for me wasn't it!!!

My image is the beautiful Krista's called Hand-me Down from the Saturated Canary.

The image is coloured with Copics and the borders use Distress ink Forrest Moss and grunge Stempelege.

The Papers are Prima's Botanical Stack and the Martha Stewart Round the page Cherish

The flowers are from Crealies and the butterflies - the flourishes from Magnolia.

I had been eating a donuts so my mind ran straight to this image.

I have coloured my image with Copics and use the Martha Stewart Round the page Cherish

The paper is from my bit box!! The ribon is seam binding and has change completely for the photograph.

Being being a shambles - I sat - colouring away like a pig in muck, plenty of images all done but none one card finish!!!!

In anyone can cure me of doing this I would be very grateful.

I am now drying and finish some card. On this batch before I have now got papers chosen - an odd card actually finish - hearly!!!

Her the next batch I am just starting to think about papers.

The next batch I didn't even have the courage to even show you, they are j usual in a half done state

Perhaps I needed an electric shock every time I need to start again.

Please all bully me to keep going and finished me thinks I've started.

This would have been for an Everybony Art Challenge which asked for week is monochrome - well this was not meant to be!!!! Before I finished and posted this card I was asked if I would be a DT for EAC.

I cannot tell you now excited and honored to be joining this amusingly tallented girls!!!!

Now I decided to post this card and shall now bot hunting to find someone to suit it!!

My image is, of course, the extremely talented Krista of the Saturated Canary.

I have used Colic colours in all shakes I have available.. from C00 to C09 and with some flesh and eyes to add some relief.

The paper is Pink Petticoat, Embossed by Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl and Wild Orchid Crafts lace.

I am going away in a couple of weeks and need some decoration done so I am trying to have my self organised - HAAAA !!!

You wouldn't see the number of images just coloured and sat waiting for treatment - I will photograph and shoe them yesterday. I really need to sort myself and stop doing this - I have promised myself some more storage but only if I sort out my current mess.

I have managed to fin a couple of challenges but will search for a few more.

It's time for our new challenge here on Basic Grey Challenge and this week we have some Spring Photo Inspiration for you. Design a project using the Spring theme, or simply use the colour inspiration

Just look at this!!! I haven't done this for my card (or back to front) for ages. Of course it would because I'm really stock for time and had to but it back together. I rectify it by the quickest possibly by to easel

The Basic Grey is used one of my old time favourite is Lilykate and used Lili Of the Valley beautiful image Summer Garden Angel.

I have how converted it into easel card - my little angel is colour with Copics and used inked the porders with tumbled distress glass. t The flowers are Crealies and the fence, butterfly and leaves are all Magnolia.

The photographed is some what rushed and could have been better.

This week our challenge is ANYTHING GOES ! and I know you all love this one !!

The Design Team are this week showcasing My Mind's Eye products. If you have any My Mind's Eye products we would love to see you use them but if not, it is not necessary for taking part in this challenge.

The image is Singing in the Rain - how happy is this little chap - a philosophy for life!!!???
The paper are My Mind's Eye - Paris & Co. I have always lobe the MME papers, wonderful quality and the new selections are stunning!!

I am used with the usual Copic and use the Nellie Snellen Rectangler Die - which I find such perfect size.
How can I live with Magnolia with the Swirl border and the Swirl to which I have added to a selection Prima Flowers

Just a half of an image today!!!

She would have been a full image if my B******* cat didn't walk ink across his leg.

If I had just started the image but because I had practically finish it would have devastated me to just abandoned it me - the only answer was to amputate her legs - ooops sorry!!!

I had some papers just ready that I think is close enough for Toltally Papercrafts.

My image is by Krista's Sateraded Canary and colled - Gothica and coloured with Copics

My dies are by Nellie Snellon - the borders and the circular one is by Marianne.

I've use a Sizzix flowers and the leaves my Crealies.

I do wish Blogger will stop playing with things around - the text of my blog suddenly grew enormous - when I went to change it every thing had changed. My design is one from Splitcouststampers - I love playing about with different shapes and sizes.
This size turned to exactley 4"x4".
The image image is called 'Sleepy Head' by one of the sweet Hoppy, this is collered by Copics and inked the edge with Victorian velvet's Distress Inks.

This is the first side open.

And the other side of the open side. I will use the rest filling the 'parts' when I've make my mind up and stock being 'wishy-washt#

This week we have another great challenge for you...

3 Different Papers

The DT are showcasing CC Designs and The Greeting Farm images this week. You don't have to use one of them but we have such a fabulous selection in the store it's worth taking a look.

I have use the CCDesigns Ladybug and coloured her with Copics.

The First Edition Papers Isabelle papers are just so beautiful and can;t waigh to get the odd one or two (or maybe three or........) might just end up filling into my basket!!!

Nellie Snellon Flower punch and emboss, the Magnolia Doohickey Leaves and Butterfly Swirly Butterfly I added them as part of the band used to hold the bard together.

I use another circle for the enter of the card - I will have added on label - or something - I'm being
wishy-washy again!!!

This image is Alice in Wonderland and the images. I think I have all of them and intend to make them into a small book - time permitting!!!

This one is the Mad Hatter and is coloured with Copics.

The papers are ???? - from my 'bit box' - not matter I much I use them they still seem to grow and grow!!!!

My clock is the from Tim Holtz - I didn't intend to add 'TEA TIME' on I couldn't make which time it should be - I don't have tea!!!

D'Arcy as My Heart

Here come another D'Arcys Diaries called My Heart- hope you are not tired of seeing hil hust het - you could be - there are certain more to arrive perhaps Bo/Bea should get a tern????

The image is stamped the edge with Stempelgele, as is are the flowers.

I used the papers My Mine's Eye and one of the used with Magnolia Doohickey and a sentiment with a

Flowers by Nellie Snellon are cut cut with Magnolia Doohickey leafe.

The stamping here had distorted the colours on the cover but not on the inner.

We are WISHING ON A STAR this week and do hope you can joini.

My image is one of the adorable D'Arcy's Diaries called Swinging Blues, she is coloured with Copics and her wings with Stickles Icicle.

The Basic Grey is Urban Prairie and used with Opaline Pearls.

I do love the new Magnolia Swirl Lace Doohickey - I suspect you will end up fed it - though possible not as I have a bad hapit for covering things up!!!

I used the Dia-namic's Stacking Stars - I add multi-coloured stars originally then told me to not be stupid and stock to the two colours.

My sentiment is Personal Impressions.

I used the Tim Holtz's Tags with Vintage Shabby.

I inked the edges with Stormy Sky and the stressed the edges with a Paper Distressor

My inking is part of the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous - one of my favourite and first versetile I think!!

The flowers are used with the Tattered Florals.

I use a few of odd 'bits' from my 'scavenging'.

Now I bead to blitzed my house - I leave a trail behind me when I play with Tim Holtz goodies. Such fun - I do have a few more tags set but just one decided what bits to added.

My Introduced to D'Arcy

Introducing my first D'Arcy's Diaries - she certainly won't be the last - she is such a dream to colour - in fact I could't stop and did even more images.
It takes me forever to be the complete card, 'wishy washy ' is the word!!!

D'Arcy who is from the same stable as Bo and Bea, both the same created from the fabulous Gayle

This image is called 'Under by Umprella' and she is coloured with Copics.

The leaves and flourishes are Magnolia Doohickies and the flowers Crealies.

The border is by Martha Stewart and I added a pin with pearls etc. with an umbrella charm.

The papers are pieces from my 'bit box' which I have manage to collect together.

It has taken me all day to photograph a few more - after waiting for every - they are no better - grrrr!!!!

Right I shall go and do the rest of my photographs better - the snow is distorting the light - it is so strong and was the lamp wasn't so successful with this one!!!

Thank you so much to you all for joining us in our Animal Antics Challenge last week. It was so fantastic to see so many of your furry friends and cute and cuddlies !!

There won't be many of you who haven't heard of this amazingly talented, kind hearted, friendly and very popular JACQUI (aka CATS WHISKERS).

We are all absolutely thrilled to bits to have Jacqui join the Simon Family and we hope you too can stop by her blog and give her a very warm welcome.

I used a Spellbinders Nestabilities to cut a Heart for the image Tilda with Many Hearts which was used with Copics,

I use Magnolia's Leaf and Swirl to start to frame the Heart.

The flower are Prima - mainly the Lilliput Roses and Prima Pearls are Dandilion in White

I tried to better another photograph - I remember to add my little charm which I had forgotten - the photograph still wasn't any better !!!!

I just framed a very simple on the outside used Cuttlebug Floral Border.

I love this beautiful of Mo's image Bunches - it is show adoptable and so use for so many uses.

This is the challenge for Anything goes and there is Optional Sketch .

Mo's Digial Pencil and called Bunches and coloured with C opics

The papers are Papers First Edition - Summer Breeze

Spellbinders Circles are cut for the image and Nellie Snellon are cut for the Corners dies

The flowers cut are cut with Sizzix -DetailFlower 3D and used glass beads and the sentiment is by Wild Rose Sentiment.

How I am hoping this will be able to publish ok.

I am not the only parson having problems apparently - I had 4hours on Saturday to successfully a publish - I think I should deserve a reward for endurance (or a Bunches)!!!

This week at Basic Grey we would like you to see something about LOVE - not surprise as it is February the month of Love/Valentine!!!
It does not to be a Valentines itself, anything to do concerning love will do.

I have some very sad news - two of our gorgeous girlies are leaving us, Fleur and Liz! We're so sorry to see you go ladies, and we're going to miss your awesome makes each fortnight. Thank you both for all your work and inspiration that you've given during your time here! Hope you'll still pop by and play along with us!

Now onto this fortnight's fabulous samples by the design team and our special guest designer, Trisha.

Papers are the beautiful Wisteria.

I used one of my favourite Lily of the Valley Together Forever and coloured with the usual Copics and the sentiment is together with the image.

I used the Stickes stardust to cover with the Memory box.

The Hearts are used with the Memory box and flowers are used mostly Prima with some others.

Please remember that you do have to use at least one BasicGrey product to be able to qualify for this amazing prize !

I am ashamed to say to say this is the first time I have inked up Magnolia's image - Hello Little Butterfly This is coloured with Copics.

The center of the image is stamped is Stamp Ped and Here Arts White embossing used a Heat Gun.
Ink is with a combination. of Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky Distress inks.

I gave used another, almost of my end of Basic Grey - I'm getting tood to use up all my ends left!!!

This is Two Scoop - it is very pretty, but saving it is useless - I can't get any more!!!

My image is the gorgeous Janessa from Saturated Canary. I have coloured the image with Copics and finished it all, put it together, photographed it, added it to the blog and then....................no lips!!!!!!!!! How dense can I get????????????????I have now coloured it put it is so dark to photo with things at the moment - shame on me - I can't be bothered!!!

The flower's are cut with Nellie Snellen, with a die and punch. The flowers are inked with distress inks and small pearls added for the centers.

The sentiment is cut with Spellbinders Fancy Tags

Our Basic Grey's challenge this week is "FAVOURITE THINGS".
We would like to see you using all the things you love most in making your projects. The only thing you have to remember is that you have to use a BasicGrey product somewhere in your creation and please let us know which BasicGrey product you used in your blog post because sometimes it isn't very obvious.

What are my favorite thing??????
Thant's is difficult - it just depend on the mood - it changes so I have gone with my current mood!!!
At the moment I are decided I am using all my 'hundreds' of smaller pieces of Basic Grey. I refuse to admit now many pads (eeerrr - part puds). Much as I love many of them it is time to use them.

As I can't use enough to use full cards I now to be adaptable and decided to make a 'fold closed' type.
This paper used is remain of Two Scoop - just one piece with another in the prices of being used up - whoopee!!

Teddy Bo was a perfect style for this style with somewhere for both of a sentiment/verse/speak .

I also have other ideas to use for smaller piece of paper - that is don't to off the idea!!!!!

We had some amazing creations for our Spots and Stripes challenge for us to admire last week and nowhave our lovely teamie, Domi, has made this gorgeous sketch for us all to use this week. You can rotate or flip it, as long as we can see the basic sketch.

Introducing Popcorn from Crafter's Companion and called Birthday Hugs

He is a pretty 'BIG' Boy and an absolute dream to colour other than it is blue!!!!

I did manage a purple/blue once!!! I did head a problem about the 'duck' - didn't want the norm yellowy colour so he ended up a pale blue!!!

Popcorn is coloured with Copics

Prima flowers and a Nellie Snellen punch used together and coloured with Distress Ink - Broken China

Stickles are coated liberally with Popcorn's bow

Look at the colour of the inner side of the card - I think I need this natural daylight - even though this was a daylight lamp it is rubbish!!!!!!

This card was originally for the Basic Grey DT - I have had no computer since Christmas.......so all my images have been stuck into my blog so I thought I should put them to use!!!

Poppy the Circus Girl, is called this beautiful image by Kirsta Smith and the image is used by Copics.
Basic Grey's is used Porcelain and the colours cut by Nellie Snellon.

The flowers are Prima Calcutta and the leaves cut by Crealies. I have added the stamped corners by
Stempelglede and pearls by Basic Grey.

There are for the Bearly Mine challenge which are ANYTHING GOES - but guess what !!! - I actually won the last challenge - I am so thrilled and excited I am - perhaps my luck is changing in the new hear!!!

I hope this is the end of this computer bad behavior - I've been missing you and I hope I can slowly pick pu the pieces and start vising you again.

Just a card without a challenge

I've been have a big sort-out today, in my computer, in my stash - well just about everywhere and I found a card that I never got round to posting.

I did a wall hanging for a friend using this image and immediately wanted to do it again in different colours, so I thought I'd show it you.

It is of course one of Mo's and I think it is my overall favourite at the moment and it's called 'Learning to Read'.

I coloured it this time in Copics using mainly R20's and C's.

The top left hand corner looked bare but it really didn't lend itself to embellishments so I simply added a computer generated sentiment and then matted and layered it onto red cardstock.

I would like to frame it but doubt whether I would find a frame the correct size and so would probably have to make one.

Right hopefully I will finish sorting out my jumbled up downloaded papers this evening - wish me luck!!

This has been entered to DP2 Favourite 2011 - one is 'All time favourite' which was never made for any challenge - just for fun - so it is gratified it that is part of a entered

This week we have a nice easy one for you - Simon Says Stamp challenge - ANYTHING GOES !!! We had a little Christmas gift swap amongst the DT and some of us are using the things we made for each other for our projects for this week :-)

The image is Magnolia's Unwrapped Tilda and coloured by Copics.

The papers are Bo Bunny's Snowfall and definitely my favoritism of this Christmas's coloured and just which I has got more. The flowers are various but manly Magnolia Cherry flowers - coloured with Distressed inks of Vintage photo and Magnolia's Leaf die. The packet/box has all the edges coloured with Walhut Ink distress ink

Mo's Winter Fairy

I really promised my self was the final Christmas card was finish!!!

This was finished until Mo's Digital Pencil just planning to my ruins by this adorable Winter Fairy Halla which she had just issued. I had to fall in love with this one.

The Fairy is coloured with Copics.

I have used Kraft papers and Echo
Papers.

The hearts were cut with Spellbindirs
and Magnolia for doohickey dies .

The Challenge this week is DBP Challange Punches and/or Dies

One of my new New Years's resolutions is to use before images before buying more!!!

We're playing Bingo this week on Simon Says Stamps Challenge - I couldn't make my mind which square to use - so nothing new there again!!! It eventually became ribbon, gems and glitter.

I chose for Ho use Mouse - Missletoe Momet as my image and with Copics.
A Magnolia Leaf was used to frame the circled, Stickles Gold glittere this is coated 'holly berries' them .

I used Cuttlebug Seeing Spots on the pain card and with Hero Arts gems, all finished with some rabbon.

The Design Team are this week showcasing STICKLES or GLITTER and some are showcasingLA LA LAND STAMPS! Simon Says Stamp sells a huge range of stickles, glitter and stamps! Their supply is seemingly endless!!! Go check it out!!!!

The Design Team are featuring La La Land - what sweet little expresses they have!!! I used Santa Marci and coloured with Copics and cut out with a Spelldliners Oval and inked with Distress inks.

I've used Bo Bunny Snowfall - I love the unusually more Christmas colours.

Spellbinders - In Spades were used cut and then Heat Gun and using Perfect Medium and Rangers Embossing powder then Sparking Embossing Powder.

Using a Create a Flake and other cut flakes with Glossy Accents and coated with Twinklets Diamond Dust

Whimsey is the postage stamp die and the sentiment stamp is tucked it between the image.

There are flowers, ribbon, pins and other detail are from a variety of pieces.

I have used Two Scoops Basic Grey papers, I really find this one of my all time favorites.

My image is also a long time favorite from Alota rubber stamps - I love these little angels but doesn't seem the light of day off enough.

I have used a Martha Stewart Round the Page, the flowers and leaves are from different times (Crealies, Woodwore, and Nellies among others)

The image is coloured with Copics but silly me has forgotten to glitter my angels - will have to be done soon other I will annoy myself.

Its time for another Simon Says Stamps challenge and our lovely teamie Joy for us to use for our inspiration,

for Photo Inspired courtesy of Pinterest.

You can choose any (or as many) elements for you - so get creative !!!

I have another couple more I will add more as soon as they are waiting (not very patiently) for them to settle and dry!!!

I'm suffering for my usual 'Whishy Washiness' - which coulour should I to use for the background on to photograph it. Using both solved the problem - still cant make up my mind.

I found some tinsel from the local supermarket and used some base for stretch as wire .

I attached everything with Glossy Accents, brilliant - I couldn't live without Glossy Accents!!

I used a mixture of Prima - Calcutta Porcelanea and the Sizzix 3D Flowers. The Flowers where used to tint the coloured with Distress Braken China. The Magnolia is Tilda with a Hanging Heart and coloured her with Copic. I used the Ribbon so use wire to attached.

This was such fun (and simple) - now I think I would like to do one with an other colours - or more!!!

I've just finish my next little decortions - NEVER again - it has taken me longer to photograph them. It was much more difficult to decorate this design this far more difficult than the House Mouse I did .
These are all decorated with Magnolia and a Cuttlebug Ice Crystal - I will add the decoration but I think I had should go to the bank before it closes!!!

Just a quick card, I made this for the House Mouse & Friends but oooops - lost it!!! I did find it after much frustration. I had packed it into my HM boxes and packages - another brainless moment!!!

I have used a Hanglar Christmas image and coloured it from distress inks using - I think I need to practice more with distress inks, I haven't been them recently and boy does it show!!!

The flowers are the usuall Wild Orchid other than the leaves are Prima Lustered Leaf Sprays White

Corners are coloured with white Adirondack Acrylic paint dabber

Anything Goes with us at the Simon Says Stamp challenge - although the team are showcasing Stamps Challenge Unity Stamp or Lawn Fawn stamps this week - you do not have to use them but we would love to see them if you have them.

I chose to use a Unity Stamp called Perfect the way You Are. I used ink with heat Color Box with a Heat Gun and using Rangers Embossing powder then coloured it lightly with Distress inks.

The Bo Bunny - Gabrielle are so gorgeous along with the Unity Stamps
The sentiment is also part of the Unity Stamp , this is coloured with Adirondack ink and cut with the Spellginders Fancy Tags

Nellie Snellon flower Punch is used on the panel and used Hemp Cord to attach them.

Canoodling with Bo and Bea

Here I have an adorable images for Bo and Bea, canoodling with around the snow and frost in the Mistletoe.

The couple are coloured with Distress inks, mainly using Dusty concord.
The image of the inked with Color Box Frost White and gun heated with the gun used for glitter embossing powder before inked the edge.

I have used snowflakes with - well I little think of every thing I have and more!!!

Diamond dust, Fun flock, Flower Soft, and some stuff I haven't a clue-stuff (no label or anything on it) It is a little like snow, glue and mayonnaise that sets - for the sake of calling something else!

I have used the remainder of my mosquito netting and the ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl.

LOST AND FOUND at Basic Grey

We have the new Basic Grey again this week

...............we want to see you use a household item or something you found around the house.

We all have a few bits and pieces like that tucked away somewhere, don't we - errr - no, not when you'be just hurled everything - normally I had to have plenty but had to search today - mush remember not to hang on to some treasure ready for use!!!.

We have the lovely Susie Little as out Guest Design this month.

My papers are a combination of Eskimo Kisses and the Basics Manila.

I decided to use a tag of jeans and coloured and coloured, as it was just 'hanging' around I pinched by a small of my cat which had once been give to a Christmas present.

The image is one Sugar Nellie and called Pippi Longstocking - this was an old, old story from one love so familiar from the childhood off my daughter.

Pippi was coloured with Copics. I have used a use of flowers and a ribbon.

This is (was!!!) the tag attached from my jeans - the (sexy bootleg) tag applied to the jeans - sadly not me!!

I am still having probables again, not run out of time and will fasted this image later!!!

I did went a little bananas with my Tags, I did have four but cut it down to four, one on the outer side and one holding it with the other on the innermost of the easel.
Curved rectangles were used no the inner of the angle, one anchored and the other as for to for writing for use Tim Hotz's Weathered Clock was use initial but detach to it put use the one attached with the Magnolia Winterforest with the Curved rectangles wish were used to be the Magnolia - Lovely Fence

Finished with Magnolia Cherry Blossom and Prima Innoscence flowers and everything rallishly covered with Stickes Stardust

I'm back, not that I have been anywhere other that a a 3hour dental appointment which spaced me out for almost two days - I don't know what my Dentist gave me but it is certainly powerful !!!!

My next disappearing trip acquired by via the failure of the computer - not really difficult!!!

Hopefully all is now returned to normal, but just keeping fingers required - just in case!!!

I ha've had some small back clear beads that I have add for ever - even only knows what for!!!! I didn't know them to either use them until the fabulous Camilla has created inspire. I used the 'sandwich' using acetate. Camilla is far better than myself and I think the beads are better and less transparent. I still have tonnes of these less so be warned and a Big Hug to Camilla for
your inspiation.

I have only found some 'stuff' in a box - it has now label, no make - actually on nothing at all!!!

I am still experimenting to discover what it is and what it could me used for and will let you know you.
